I find it interesting that after 6 plus years there are still people that have no idea we exist. After the battle I went through to open this facility and being in the paper, on the radio, and television, I would have thought more people would know about us. The Mission ABUNDANT Moment Life We have changed our format so we can accommodate more people. With these accommodations our numbers may come close to the 400 mark per year. I know many think that homelessness is solely due to drugs and alcohol but this is untrue. Even though this does occur, we have seen an increase in seniors as well as vets in Where Families Find Their Way the last couple of years. I believe that this will be an increasing number as housing is 1406 10th Ave. Menominee, Mi difficult plus social security just isn't enough to live on. We also have a large number of good people just having a hard time along with young people that were never taught a good work ethic. As you may imagine this frustrates me on a daily basis, but we continue to move forward and do what we do to help. This is not just an Abundant Life Mission issue. It should be a community issue, but that falls very short. Thank you to all who have given and I pray you continue to do so.
