The proposed $17.5 million settlement with Tyco Fire Products, LP, Chemguard, Inc., and ChemDesign Products, Inc. resolves claims of current and former property owners and residents who allege their private well drinking water sources were contaminated with perfluorinated chemicals (PFAS) from the nearby Tyco Fire Facility.
