The Harbors property has a storied history that spans over one hundred years. This historic landmark has served many generations of families ever since it began itsharbors life as St. Joseph's Hospital in 1891. St. Joseph's was first operated by the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, who travelled by foot to collect donations from lumber camp workers for the maternity hospital.
