tyco Join Us: Public Meeting for Updates on PFAS Remediation Fire Protection Products Tyco recently received the green light from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) to implement its Groundwater Extraction & Treatment System (GETS). Our contractor also recently began removing soil containing PFAS stored at the Fire Technology Center (FTC). To share details concerning these actions to remove the PFAS that came from our operations, Tyco is hosting a Public Meeting on Tuesday, June 29 at 6 PM. A presentation will be given by the GETS Senior Engineer from Geosyntec, and questions will be answered by members of the Tyco team, including Chief Sustainability Officer, Katie McGinty. Representatives from WDNR will also attend the virtual meeting. We look forward to sharing more information about GETS construction and soil removal and what to expect when the work is complete, as well as hearing your feedback and answering any questions you may have.
